Yes. And there are special on on the particular day 7 days a week. However check the hours because they are closed early on certain days.
No they are not.
Great hidden gem for brunch! Huge portions and friendly service. They get really busy so expect a wait at peak times.
The food was amazing. I was full for a very long time. Great size portions and flavors. Only reason it's not 5 star is because my Rum Punch I could not taste any trace of liquor not did I feel anything. Maybe I have a high tolerance but it was watered down, not much taste to it. Fast service.
Excellent service and food. Enjoyed our server Rachel.
Ok, this food is not fancy, it's just good. They cook with love the waiters remember you. Everything is made with love (except for that damn chicory coffee). I have NEVER given a casual restaurant 5 stars because I was a chef and I can get snobby about food sometimes. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!!! Keep up the good work.
Great place for breakfast. My wife and I went, sat outside. The staff were all great, and all wore masks. The food was delicious.
The food and portion are very filling!!! The waiter was nice and excellent service!!! I would definitely go back!!! And recommend y'all too my family and friends...
The food and service are great. The daily specials are the best. I went on a Monday afternoon so, of course, Red beans and rice with hamhocks and corn bread... Delicious!!!
For over 30 years. Always greatStarted going to the restaurant in mid 80s with Joe Costello and WRNO.What memories of West End
If you're having a rough morning after a fun night out Russell's is the place to go. The staff is excellent the food served there is about as authentic New Orleans as it gets. Not to mention the bloody Mary's will ease you right into your next day of enjoying the city
FINALLY!!we got some really good service and some amazing sweet tea. We've been in new Orleans for 5 days and this spot had the best comfort food and the best Service. I got the country fried steak and mac and cheese with spinach. the mac and cheese was actually baked and still creamy. oh and i can not forget the GRIT CAKE! get the grit cake. i promise its the best thing i have tried in the south!
Fabulous place. The food and service was wonderful. It had been awhile since we had been here and it was wonderful. The Blood Mary's were delicious. The brunch items were great as well.
Love it! I've been going here for almost 30 years.
Nice place for breakfast. The service was great for our group of 5. The Bananas Foster french toast was delicious! A bit pricier than your typical breakfast spot but well worth it.
Food: 90/100Service: 90/100Venue: 80/100The pecan pie and corn bread amazing, must get! Shrimp and Grits good flavor but, our grits are not hot that's minus. Overall pleasant experience
Food was good. Portions were small tho and my bill for 2 people was 55 dollars...most of the rating comes from accommodating my doggo
My favorite place to grab breakfast in New Orleans . The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing , i love their alligator sausage , Dre ch toast and of course the pancakes .
I have been eating at Russell's Marina Grill since the early 1980's and, to be fair, this is my first review that was not four or five stars. My meal, a shrimp poorboy, was poor, and the server was terrible. The bread was stale and tasteless, the shrimp was the worst, like some cheap frozen shrimp from Costco, and the tomatoes looked like they had been cut with a machete, mushed and 1/2" thick on one side & 1/16" thick on the other side. Our server was poorly spoken, course in his speak, and inattentive. His response to 'Thank-you' was normally something to the effect of, "No worries dude." I asked for some ketchup for my poorboy & fries and he brought me one small tub of ketchup that was only good enough for about five French fries.
Seafood Platter was ok Crabcake was terrible
Food was delicious, but it was so crowded it was uncomfortable. Also multiple screaming toddlers\babies.
Even the Chocolate Milk is fancy...Got to love this place. So good. So fun.
If you visit this city make a stop here. Brunch all day handmade/scratchmade food great taste huge portions at great great great price. Located right by the water too.
I ordered the Pavlov’s breakfast ( might be spelling it wrong ) and I have to say, it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The pork chops were tender, fruit was fresh, eggs were fluffy, muffin toasted to perfection and the hash browns had a crispy outside and a soft inside. Needless to say I’d recommend Russell’s marina to everyone looking to have an amazing breakfast.
Nice place the food was good. Nothing out of this world but good food
The presentation was better than the taste. The last 3 visits have been “eh”. I had to send the food back last time for being too cold. Not sure what’s going on.
Great service and food was fresh and hot
Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is great and the food is great with good prices. Stop in and meet Big Al to try a Bloody Mary, one of the most welcoming people I have ever met.
Well run and maintained with very friendly and attentive staff. Food came out quickly but was not entirely hot. Their defense, they were very busy and were slammed with orders. Overall a very positive experience we will be back
I've been eating at this place for nearly 10 years and never had a bad experience. It's so good. As if the food being delicious wasn't enough, check out the architecture of this waffle. It has a syrup boat designed into the middle, which also has a fleur de lis. 👌(My wife had BBQ shrimp and grits mmmm)
Fantastic as always. Never, ever disappointed
Good home cooked food. Great breakfast, fine service and good value for the price. Seafood is the specialty here and the eggs. Benedict were perfect with crap meat. Great dish. Get there before it gets crowded.....
I ordered shrimp and grits and did not like it.... Fried green tomatoes were good I recommend sauce on the side.... Sweet potato beignets were different but not really sweet...additionally the waitress was rude!
Delicious food. Large portions. The best bread pudding I've ever had! Great service. This was my first visit but will not be my last.
There are parking spaces outside and plenty of seating. The host and waitress were very courteous and attentive, and the restroom was clean. We had the alligator sausage for an appetizer and the sausage was okay but the remoulade it came with was excellent. My main was the BBQ Shrimp Benny (pictured). The dish had more shrimp than you get most places and the biscuits were perfect. The grits lacked flavor even with the sauce, but they were almost not necessary since the rest of the entree was filling. For dessert, we got the peanut butter chocolate pie and the bread pudding. The pie was thick and really satisfying. I've had better bread pudding but it's still worth a try.
So good really enjoyed the food.. Server Anna made sure we had everything we need. Nice atmosphere. Restroom was clean. Resturstrant was clean. We will be back for breakfast on the patio.. #LocalGuides #OnGoogleMaps
So yummy. I love NOLA and Russell's is a must any time we visit.
ABSOLUTELY the best breakfast in New Orleans!! If you have an appetite for true blue NOLA food, I strongly suggest stopping in and enjoying some of the very best in the city!!!
Absolutely loved the fresh berries French toast.
We woke up late, and wanted a good breakfast. Russell’s delivered! Their pancakes and chicken strips are delicious, and at a great price. We’ll definitely be returning.
Love this place! Consistently delicious food & always friendly service.
Had the "Morning after omelet". Fantastic. Comes with a bloody Mary and chili fries.
First time eating here & it definitely won't be the last!!! My coworkers & I all ordered the Saturday special....OMG!! The chicken was freshly made to order. The managers & staff were all very polite & accommodating. The weather changed over night. The restaurant was freezing cold but the manager turned the air down to make guests more comfortable. Eventhough we ordered the chicken I will be going back soon to try some of that delicious looking breakfast that others were eating!!
Great place for brunch. Watch them fresh squeeze the OJ at the bar.
Saints #33, alligator sausage in a grilled biscuit and tomatoes topped with gravy and a poached egg!! Amazing! Always my go to, my favorite but that is even a hard decision bc everything is fantastic that is offered on the menu. My husband is born and raised in New Orleans until the past few years, visiting here every year continues his child hood memories of great times and amazing, fresh food. Everything you taste is very fresh and made with perfection. Even offer a The Day After Breakfast that includes their famous, must have bloodymarry. The atmosphere is very laid back and local feeling with friendly faces. Locally owned for many years and close to the lake.
Staff was attentive and friendly. They genuinely worked hard to accommodate special requests. The portions are HUGE and the brunch is delicious! This is a wonderful local place!
If you want to eat the most amazing breakfast items you have eaten, this is the place to go. Its always busy so be prepare to wait a little bit. Its not too long a wait and the food is well worth the wait. The menu is too long to list here, but you can find everything listed on their website. This is the place to go for breakfast/brunch if you are in the New Orleans area. I guarantee the food will blow you away. AMAZING!!! Really good Bloody Mary too. Everything is very affordable too. I will be there next weekend and I am definitely going there for breakfast again.
Besides ALWAYS having the "BIG AL'S" Bloody Marys with breakfast, Russell's Marina has some of the best prepared breakfast entrees in New Orleans. From "Benedict-like" Eggs Pontchartrain to sweet potato pancakes smothered with your choose of fruits and/or nuts, the menu can satisfy your breakfast or lunch appetite. Southern-style hospitality is on the forefront along with great service & reasonable prices. You'll love Russell's Marina Grill.
Great local restaurant. BBQ Shrimp and Grits are very flavorful and there grits are creamy and awesome . Waitress wars so helpful and a pleasure. Highly recommend!
🗣 the best breakfast place I’ve eaten at in New Orleans!! We were in New Orleans for four days this last visit and we are here 3 days straight. Everything was good and the homemade jam was a winner. The first day we were a little disappointed with the wait but it was worth the wait. I will visit here every time I go to New Orleans from here out. Mr. Al, was awesome and very welcoming and there were a few others that had great customer service with the exception of one or two. I would definitely recommend
It was yummy to my tummy
The food was great. Everyone inside made sure your experience was awesome. They really catered to our needs!!!! Please go if you're in the area.
